An economics student, Peter Nguka,  has won The Student Governor of the Year award. The award was  given by Corporate Career Academy.

Courtesy call to the department of economics and development  studies by Juneweenex and Lensa Omune both from International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) for possible potential areas of collaboration between IFPRI and UON on public lecture/dissemination of research findings, capacity sharing/ mentorship/networking and collaborative/ joint research.
