African Economic Research Consortium

The African Economic Research Consortium is an international not-for-profit organization registered in Delaware in the United States of America and established as a body corporate with full Legal Personality Under the Laws of the United States of America.  AERC executes a Collaborative Masters Programme in Economics (CMAP), which is a collaborative training program among Anglophone African Universities (except Nigeria), in the field of Postgraduate training in Economics. AERC also executes a Collaborative Ph.D. Programe (CPP), a collaborative training programme among Sub-Saharan African Universities in the field of Economics. The School of Economics is a participating unit and the director of the School sits in the academic boards of both CMAP and CPP.

CBK is established under the constitution of Kenya 2010 and there under mandated to formulate and implement monetary policy directed to achieving and maintaining stability in the general level of prices.

Insurance Regulatory Authority

The Insurance Regulatory Authority as established under the Insurance Act Cap 487 under the Ministry of Finance, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and is in charge of regulating, supervising and developing the Insurance Industry in Kenya.

Unctad Virtual Institute

The UNCTAD Virtual Institute on Trade and Development assist academic institutions in member countries to strengthen their capacity to develop courses and to conduct research on trade, investment and development-related issues dealt with by UNCTAD.

University Of Gothenburg

The University of Gothenburg collaborates with the University of Nairobi in Support of the Environment for Development Initiative-Kenya. The EfD initiative is a Sida-funded project, which started in 2007.  The project is currently governed by a four-year agreement between Sida and UGOT.

World Trade Organization Chairs Programme - Kenya

The World Trade Organization Chairs Programme (WCP) was launched with the objective of strengthening knowledge and understanding of the trading system among academics, citizens and policy makers in developing countries by stimulating teaching, research and public debate on international and trade and trade cooperation in universities and research institutions.
